Well, I cannot connect to my modem Huawei when the internet connection is active. And neither when I disconnect it. I must chande auto-connect to off in its preferences, then plug out modem, plug in and fast connect with Wammu.
Under old Linux Mint, based on Ubuntu, there was no problems like that, Wammu works completly independent to internet connection status. Something's wrong - I really don't know, did it came with one of newer versions of Wammu/Gammu, or with new system (Mint based directly on Debian, 64 bit).
